IDEAL POCKET WATCH IN ANTIQUE GRANDFATHER CLOCK DISPLAYAn antique walnut novelty grandfather clock watch holder, with an Ideal (U.S.A., serial 4J020414) pocket watch circa 1900 in a Lonville Watch Case Co. case (serial 1984802). The grandfather clock watch case has a forged copper spandrels with stippling.
The case measures 17.75 x 4.75 x 3.75 inches, and the watch measures 1.75 x 1.25 inches.
Condition
The watch is cosmetically very good but does not tick. The grandfather clock watch holder is in good condition. The back of the case's top has two pieces of wood that have slightly separated from each other, its original adhesive having failed.

Boston, timed strike and chime, nine tubes signed Walter Durfee, a pierced carved crest with two finals and dentil molding, carved rosettes, beveled glass door, and gadrooned carved base on animal paw feet, three weights, pendulum and key. Clock visible in the 1920's vintage photo taken of the interior of the Allen home. 98”H x 24”W x 15”D Condition: fabric back is torn, was working a few years ago, as with all antique grandfather clocks some adjusting needed to put in working order.
